The Problem

Gold care homes had been restricted with the internet speeds and Wi-Fi provided to their buildings which was slowing down all internal systems and the residence it looks after. It was leading to slow performance and frustrations which were costly in money and time. This was affecting the reputation and service Gold Care Homes as a group was providing and didn’t match up with their high standards.

Our Solution

Upon opening 2 new branches near London Gold Care homes contact IBT to quote and provide time scales for installation for new broadband lines. Having been impressed with the competitive support cost, quick delivery, and hands on support Sandip Panchal (Head of IT & Business Intelligence), asked us to implement the new broadband services. We had the lines up and running in days which was completely uncharacteristic of their old telecoms provider. The relationship blossomed and lead on to the introduction of all need mobile contracts, dedicated internet at all sites, new cabling to modernise current infrastructure and eventually all new hosted phone systems at sites to reduce call costs and connect all sites and staff together, wherever they are. We now speak on a weekly basis and provide quarterly reviews to the business to see if we can spot any recommended improvements.

The Outcome

A massive benefit now is that all the sites have been modernized with new infrastructure, connectivity, and comms. All phones can link together between sites if needed and talk to each other free of charge. It has had a real impact of improving communication between staff and sites. With improved internet speeds, Wi-Fi, DECT base cordless phone system alongside with hosted 3CX telephony system has added real improvement and process standardization within Gold Care Homes.
